VALENTINE SNACKS

Using the heart shape, many, many snacks can be turned into a valentine snack. Use heart shaped cookie cutters to cut grilled cheese sandwiches out or toast and strawberry jam. Make heart shaped pancakes with a metal cookie cutter set in the pan and pour the batter into it to form the shape. Serve red and white items for lunch on Valentine's day.
Cream cheese and strawberry jam rolled up in a tortilla and sliced to make pinwheels are popular in my house. Using you and your child's imagination there is no limit to the "special" treats you can share!
