TODDLER ARTEven toddlers can enjoy working with paints, fat markers and crayons but constant, close adult supervision is absolutely essential to ensure their safety. Pieces of broken crayon and marker caps are choking hazards, and adults must be vigilant to prevent children from putting these items in their mouths. Be aware of these hazards not only at playtime but when it comes time to put the art materials away. Always choose a storage location, which is inaccessible to young children.
